"So... this is the place you've been staying at for the time being, Valkyrie?" Said Cobalt looking on nervously.
"Yeah, it's not much, but it's home... you wana see the family little bro?"
"WOULD I!?" Said Cobalt enthousiastically. Valkyrie just chuckled in his deep throat voice and continued on into the top house where the whole family was staying.
"Now Cobalt, you have to understand, not everyone is going to be as sure as I am that you are... well Cobalt, so don't take it too lightly if they don't believe it,,, Especially ... just come on" Said Valkyrie hesitantly. Once they entered, Cobalt was amazed, everything was beautiful, the chandaliers, the walls, even the painting was all serian, it made Cobalt choke up with love.
"Oh hello Valkyrie who's that with you? And everyones insinde for luch." Said Valkyrie's older sister, Apache.
"Him? Well, Apache, this is... Cobalt" Apache looked at her brother and started to laugh uncontrollably.
"HAHAHAHA! THAT'S COBALT... you crack me up. But seriously, who's that?"
"No really, I'm Cobalt"
"Yeah, prove it kid" said Apache in disbelief.
"With pleasure, Apachithea" Said Cobalt, he then put his left hand over his eye, and swiped across it just inches away from touching his eye, What he revealed was a birthmark that was unique only to him and was basically a genetic ID. Apache couldn't believe it.
"Oh, my... god... c...C...CO...COBALT!?"Said Apachie in utter exitement. Cobalt just higged his big sister and said "Hey Apache". They both hugged eachother, and then Apache broke the silence "You're supposed to be dead"
"and yet he has a mate and 7 kids" Chimed Valkyrie.
"WOW, REALLY!? GOOD JPB BUDDY, C'mon, I'll show you to the rest of the family." Cobalt simply nodded and entered the dinnning room, one by one, he said hello to and got squeezed by every one who missed him... A.K.A the whole clan.
"COBALT!" Shouted a VERY excited Davie who pumbled Cobalt to the ground and gave him a very long kiss on his nose. Coblt remembered that Davie was gay and that this was his normal attitude, so he didn't mind... but then Came the hard part.
"So... where's Nitro?" The room went quiet VERY quickly. Then Davie pointed to the backyard and smiled.
"You have no idea how badly Nitro's been beating himself up for, more than 20 years now. He's going to love this more than everyone here together." Suddenly everyone smiled at Cobalt and started to whisper things to each other. Cobalt just proceeded to the backyard. He walked for abaout 3 minutes before finding his oldest brother Nitro, or as he used to call him "Nitwo" looking over  the lake and slowly draining whatever life he had left in him out. Cobalt knew he came at the right time.
"N...Nitro?" Said Cobalt hesitantly. Nitro turned slowly to reveal a horriflying scene, he was literally making his arm bleed and he knew it was not long before he was going to end it.
"Look kid, I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF FAKE COBALT'S SO GET OUT just... leave..."
"Nitro, what are you doing to yourself? And I know it may seem impossible, but I'm Cobalt, no doubt."
"Yeah right, if you are... then what's the most sacred thing we did together"
"Oh I know what it is... red venom" Said Cobalt playfully He then showed his right hand and revealed a ring around his index finger. Nitro looked at the ring and opened his yes wider, he took something out from under one of his chest scales and put it up against a tree, then he looked back at Cobalt, opened the thing and down came another ring. He held it, as it was too big noe for his hand, and it fit perfectly into the other ring. Then Cobalt said "Angels come, and demons go, stars will fall and oceans overflow, but you will always be my best friend, Mr. Nitwo" said Cobalt in his baby voice.
"Cobalt...? Coltie!?" yelled Nitro. when Cobalt nodded, Nitro scooped him up and hugged him so closely, tears streaming out his face, trying to grasp his emotions. But he knew that it would be pointless Cobalt returned the hug to his giant sibbling as he slowly healed his wounds. "My little brother... my Mr. Giggles" Nitro said slowly rocking Cobalt in his hug. "I missed you, baby bro, I missed you more than anything... I thought you were... Oh I'm just so glad you're safe, I love you"
"Oh Nitro, I love you too you big lug. Now let's go inside, you need to eat, you're going to get sick"
"I couldn't agree more" and Nirto went inide on his hind legs carrying his baby bro he held so dear , so gently, so carefully , in his arms.


If only Cobalt knew how many more surprises were in stor for him.
